This Privacy Policy explains how Sohi Holdings LLC d/b/a Saging Elephant ("Saging Elephant," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit sagingelephant.com, create an account, make a purchase or contact us.

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Order information: the products you purchase, order details, shipping address, and billing details needed for payment and tax.

• Account information: the login details for your site member account, and the plans and digital products associated with it.

• Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers. We do not receive or store your full card number. See "Payment Processing" below.

• Communications: messages you send through our contact form or by email, including any photographs or details you send with an order issue.

• Email preferences: your email address and subscription status if you choose to join our email list.

• Device and usage information: information collected automatically when you use the site, such as browser type, device information, IP address, pages viewed and session information. It is collected through cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy.

• Fraud-prevention information: device and transaction signals used to help detect and prevent fraudulent payments.

 

How We Collect Information

• Directly from you: when you place an order, create an account, buy a plan, complete our contact form, join our email list or email us.

• From service providers: such as our payment providers, fulfillment partners and website platform, when they share order, payment-status or delivery information with us.

 

How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

• Process, fulfill and deliver your orders and digital purchases

• Create and manage your account and provide access to purchased digital content

• Process payments, and help detect and prevent fraud

• Respond to your questions and resolve order issues

• Send transactional messages, such as order confirmations and important account or service notices

• Send marketing emails, only if you have chosen to receive them

• Maintain, secure and improve the website

• Understand how the site is used, through Wix Analytics

• Comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations, and protect our rights

 

Service Providers We Share Information With

We share personal information with service providers that help us operate the business, only as needed for them to perform their services. These include:

• Wix.com: website hosting, online store, checkout, site member accounts, Wix Pricing Plans, contact and subscription forms, email tools, and Wix Analytics.

• Payment providers: Wix Payments and its processors, PayPal (including PayPal Pay Later and Venmo), and Apple Pay, to process payments.

• Forter: fraud-screening technology used in connection with Wix Payments to help detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.

• Fulfillment partners: third-party suppliers and fulfillment services, including suppliers connected through Modalyst. They receive the order details and shipping information needed to prepare and deliver your order.

• Shipping carriers: which receive the delivery information needed to deliver your package.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect the rights, safety or property of Saging Elephant or others, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, sale or reorganization.

 

Payment Processing

Payments are handled by our payment providers. Card details are entered into and processed by those providers, and we do not receive or store full card numbers. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.

 

Suppliers and Fulfillment

Physical orders are fulfilled by third-party suppliers. To fulfill your order, we share your name, shipping address, order contents and, where needed, your contact details with the relevant supplier and carrier.

 

Accounts and Digital Access

A site member account is required to purchase and access What Goes First? Your account information is used to give you access to the private Access Hub and the content included with your purchase. What Goes First? is used through ChatGPT, a separate service operated by OpenAI. Information you enter into ChatGPT is handled by OpenAI under its own terms and privacy policy, not by Saging Elephant.

 

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies that are needed to run the site and the store, to keep the site secure, to help prevent fraud, and for analytics through Wix Analytics. We do not currently use advertising pixels, such as Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or Pinterest tags, or Google Analytics. Marketing Choices

Joining our email list is optional, and you do not need to join it to make a purchase. Any marketing opt-in offered at checkout is optional and unchecked by default. If you subscribe, you can unsubscribe at any time by using the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by emailing sagingelephant@gmail.com. We will still send transactional messages about your orders and account.

 

We Do Not Sell Personal Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not currently use customer personal information for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by applicable law.

 

How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. This includes fulfilling orders, maintaining your account and access to purchased content, resolving disputes, and meeting legal, tax and accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

 

Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect personal information, and we rely on established service providers for hosting and payment processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

 

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and on applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you

• Request correction of inaccurate information

• Request deletion of your personal information

• Opt out of marketing emails

• Appeal a decision we make about your request, where applicable law provides that right

To make a request, email sagingelephant@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." Include your name, the email address used with us, and a description of your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. Some information may need to be kept for legal, tax, security or order-record purposes even after a deletion request. If we decline a request, we will explain why where permitted. If you disagree, you may appeal by emailing sagingelephant@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal," and we will review the appeal.

 

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

 

Where Information Is Processed

Saging Elephant is based in the United States. Our service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries, where data-protection laws may differ from those where you live.

 

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice.
